What the DSG Warmline Is

The DSG Warmline is a peer-led support option for people who want someone to listen, understand, and sit with them — without pressure, fixing, or urgency.

Whether you’re feeling overwhelmed, isolated, stuck, or just need to talk something through, the Warmline offers space a safe to be heard

Who the Warmline is For

The DSG Warmline is designed with people living with disabilities and chronic illnesses in mind — including those who may also be navigating mental health challenges.

That said, the Warmline is open to anyone who could benefit from peer-led, non-crisis support and a listening ear. You don’t need a diagnosis, paperwork, or a specific reason to reach out.

IIf you’re looking for understanding, connection, or space to talk — without pressure or expectations — the DSG Warmline may be a good place to start.

What the Warmline is Not

  • A crisis or emergency service line
  • A replacement for 911, 988, or local or emergency care
  • Therapy or medical advice

How the Warmline Works

When you reach out to the DSG Warmline, you’ll be connected with a trained peer supporter — someone who understands life with disability, chronic illness, or mental health challenges.

The DSG Warmline is available during scheduled support hours of Monday-Friday
12:00 PM-6:00 P.M EST.

When the Warmline is open, you’re welcome to reach out by chat— no appointment needed.
The chat feature is accessible on mobile devices.

Alternatively, you can text the word SLAY to 412.318.5149 during Warmline hours to recieve direct chat link via text.
