About Still Here, Pittsburgh

Still Here, Pittsburgh is Pittsburgh’s first peer-led support group for people who have survived suicide attempts or are living with ongoing suicidal thoughts.

Founded by Jeremy Carter, it was created to fill a long-overlooked gap in the community—offering a space rooted in honesty, shared experience, and being understood without judgment.

Instead of a clinical or treatment-based setting, Still Here creates room for open conversation and connection among people who have faced similar challenges.

Mental Health: The Guild Way

At DSG, we know that not every need is met through traditional or clinical paths. Sometimes, what matters most is having spaces that allow people to show up honestly, without expectation or explanation.
That is why Community Connections matters. We highlight spaces like Still Here, Pittsburgh to help bring visibility to the different ways people find understanding, connection, and community on their own terms.
